About Shreyas
My journey in Chemistry began with a fascination for how molecular interactions explain the properties and behaviors of materials. This curiosity led me to pursue a B.Sc in Organic Chemistry, providing me with strong theoretical knowledge and practical laboratory experience. Over 7 years of teaching, I have worked with students at all levels, helping them build confidence, conceptual clarity, and independent problem-solving skills. I strive to create lessons that inspire curiosity while maintaining structured and clear instruction, enabling learners to connect ideas and apply knowledge effectively. I place a strong emphasis on adaptability and student-centered learning. I observe how each student approaches problems and adjust my teaching methods accordingly, using diagrams, real-world examples, and stepwise reasoning to make abstract concepts tangible. I encourage students to ask questions, explore, and view mistakes as learning opportunities, fostering a safe and supportive environment for growth. Outside of teaching, I remain engaged with Chemistry through continuing education, reading scientific literature, and practical experimentation. This engagement allows me to incorporate contemporary developments into lessons, keeping them relevant and engaging. Teaching Chemistry is deeply rewarding because I witness students evolve from uncertainty to confident, independent thinkers who can approach both academic and real-world scientific challenges with clarity, curiosity, and competence.
