About Sisan
Hello! My name is Sisan. I am a professional language teacher with 25 years working experience. I completed my education in China with Bachelors degree in English literature. Then in the UK I earned my Masters degree in language teaching. Since then I have been working as a language lecturer and teacher, in China for 14 years as lecturer, and for more than 10 years as Chinese teacher in Switzerland. I also worked as secretary, assistant and interpretor in different areas. At the moment I teach Chinese language courses online and face-to-face at my own language school in eastern Switzerland.
In my spare time, I enjoy the beautiful scenery of Switzerland and go hiking quite often with family and friends. My other hobbies are calligraphy, singing, cooking and table tennis. I am very interested in Language learning. Besides English, I speak German fluently and I am ready to learn new languages, currently Swiss German.

I teach the course participants according to their levels and requirements.
For example, I normally teach the Chinese language with the teaching material "New Practical Chinese Reader" Band 1-6. The courses are planned for 60-90 minutes per week with reading, listening, speaking and writing. I work with the Assimil method with the students who want to travel to China, which means we practice 30-60 minutes every day, mostly speaking. With the course participants who want to get to know Chinese culture, I arrange the course in my classroom on site with cultural lessons and authentic films.
