About Alex
I am a 23 year old classical voice student, currently in my 4th year at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I am from the north Wales coast and have been singing since I was 14.
I studied at the Junior Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester from 2016-2018 and started study in London from 2019.
From September 2023 I will be starting my postgraduate studies in classical voice/opera at Guildhall.
I particularly enjoy teaching beginners - vocal/artistic development is exciting! I am knowledgeable of the industry and can provide support and answers to any questions you may have - there are many things that I wish I had been told before starting my career!

My focus lies in a scientific approach to singing. This includes:
correct postural alignment, releasing of unnecessary tensions, vocal health/safety and finding a free & genuine sound.
I will pass on the experience I have gained at a world class conservatoire, providing the necessary tools to allow engagement in text/interpretation, performance practice and artistic integrity.
I believe that singing is heavily rooted in nurture, and that with the correct training, anyone can achieve a career in classical singing.
