About Bryan
I'm a classical guitarist with an MM in music performance from Ithaca College. While there, I performed frequently and taught students in a small classroom setting and one-on-one setting. I also taught at a local community arts school where I gave individual lessons.
I specialize in classical guitar, but I was initially self-taught. I can do fingerstyle, blues, Irish, rock, etc.

In my lessons, I try to use a guided approach to encourage my students to think critically and make their own conclusions. I find this more useful than me simply telling them what to do. I also like to introduce aspects of music theory in tandem with guitar techniques, when the student expresses interest.
