About Layla
When I'm not recording or on tour, I'd like to continue to inspire and teach young musicians about music and I think tutoring is the best way to do this! I enjoy collaborating with other aspiring artists and teaching other musicians is another way of doing this.

Each student is unique and generally at a different level, which I will take into account and cater the lessons to their current ability and knowledge. I am able to offer knowledge of music theory and provide an understanding of the instrument, as well as teaching good musicianship skills. I currently play bass in a band, which most recently opened for Blur on their latest tour, and have previously played in orchestras, jazz bands, and done a lot of session work playing for various artists of different genres, so I am able to adapt to each students interests in different music styles. Additionally, I studied audio engineer and production and have experience working in recording studios, so am able to teach students about the music industry and recording if requested.
