About Luis
My classical vocal training started in junior high school where I competed in numerous vocal competitions along with performing on stage with various musicals. Under a music scholarship I continued to perform in operas, musicals, church soloist and competitions where I won best male vocalist 2 years in a row in local talent search competition. After graduating from the University of Alabama with a vocal performance degree I moved to New York City to pursue a music career. While in New York City I worked as a paid soloist with various churches along with the New York Choral Society at Lincoln Center. As an AGMA (American Guild of Musical Artists) member I performed in various operas along with being employed by Asti's (restaurant shown in the movie Big with Tom Hanks) as a singer. Presently retired and residing in central Florida.

Students will learn how to use proper singing techniques to strengthen the vocal apparatus along with establishing vocal longevity and stamina. Students will also learn from my 30+ years of professional stage experience techniques in stage presence, song selections, auditioning and how to seek singing opportunities in all music genres.

First lesson will comprise of a free analysis of vocal range and voice type along with recommendations on how to proceed forward with vocal training. An honest and thorough review will be performed with every new student.
