About Natalie
I am a college student, and working professional in my early twenties. I have been involved in leadership development and public speaking in a program environment for roughly twelve years, having started participating in public speaking competitions when I was nine years old. I have moved on to Provincial levels twice, spoke and had a leadership role at the 2021 Citizenship Congress, and was an Ambassador within the 4-H program (and an active member for thirteen years).
I am very passionate about public speaking and the confidence it gave me, even when I suffered from anxiety and panic attack disorders as a child. Despite that, I was and have been able to engage in many forms of public relations, marketing, management, and teaching positions.
Having seen how much public speaking has improved my personal and working life, I want students to use public speaking as a tool.

I work with all ages, backgrounds and levels of experience, using different forms of public speaking (competitive, debate, comedy, storytelling, etc.) to create tangible goals and projects.
While learning skills to become an effective communicator, learners will also focus on topics such as character development (for themselves and their audience), behavioral psychology, and proper self-management and leadership training. The hope is to train up leaders who will continue to train other leaders.
Depending on the learner, lessons can be provided in a group setting or one-one-one. However, since the main focus is public speaking, learners are required (but not forced) to present in front of a small group every time they finish a project (will vary depending on what is available and comfort level of the individual).
There are set lessons for learning specific topics and gaining some form of experience in all methods. However, the hope is to develop the strength of the individual, the topics they are most passionate about, and the kind of settings they one day hope to lead.
