I had the privilege of working with Chris on 'Leader'. Not only is he an outstanding director, but a warm and genuine individual. Chris had a collaborative approach, allowing us to discover interesting choices together. His guidance and direction is some of the best I've worked with. From the first to the last take, his set was a pleasure to be on. An easy recommend.

I've worked with Chris a number of times, where he has been my director, and I cannot recommend him enough. He is a true master of his craft, as both an actor and director, and understanding both sides of the camera makes him one of the best acting teachers you could get. He is incredible in giving direction and acting notes in a very concise way, and with a lot of care. Every time I've worked with Chris, I have become a better actor. I trust him and his process wholeheartedly.

I worked with Chris at the beginning of my career. He took a 1-2-1 approach that helped me feel comfortable with the text, ultimately making my on-set experience an easy one. I’ve worked with Chris on short film ‘PLEASE CARE!’ and in acting workshops and now Ive just finished filming a BBC tv show as a lead character. Chris was on of the first people the believed in me prior to getting my ‘big job’. He looked out for me on set, remaining professional and funny! And within acting workshops really helped me with not only things like on deciding what headshots are best etc.. but also the realism in acting and how it has to come from you, it’s so much to read pages off a script but if you don’t find that character within yourself then it won’t perform convincing.

I can vouch for Chris. Lovely person & brilliant actor. Was very helpful in the casting workshops & helped me massively.

Having been to a showing of his new film In Too Deep recently he spent most of his time at the end of the screening speaking to the students at Staffordshire University. Chris was giving them tips on how to get into the industry and is working with some of the students on some of his projects with Slick Film.

My daughter Niamh (6) worked with Chris on a project called Leader. Niamh loves acting but is quite anxious. Chris was incredibly patient and coached her through a Zoom audition to enable her to achieve her ambition. He was incredibly supportive during filming and empowered Niamh to overcome her fears.
