I am currently a college student at Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin. However, for the summers, I go back to my family in Illinois for college courses and work. I am majoring in biochemistry, but I always find time to play my viola.

My teaching method depends on the student. A private lesson may start out with playing pieces in slow tempos and focusing on the styles and rhythms a student may be having trouble on. As we improve, the tempo increases bit by bit depending on the student's comfort level. If a student is comfortable with their rhythms of a piece(s), they may request to have our focus on something else that is musically relevant.
