About Sofia
I am a college student born and raised in Latin America. I currently study at Simon Fraser University, but I graduated with honors in Spanish classes and took AP spanish courses that are rigorous and challenging. I have experience teaching Spanish as I used to tutor back home and have excelled in my own language apart from day to day skills.

As a fluent Spanish speaker, I know how hard it can be to learn a second language - yet spanish is easy when taught patiently and in a fun way. As a college student, I know how it is to have tough teachers and the importance of clases where one feels comfortable to speak and learn in order to reach your maximum potential. Learning a new language is fun and Spanish is no exception- it is such a versatile language and is being used more and more everyday.
