About Emily
I am a student at the Savannah College of Art and Design from Chesterfield, MO. I've been working with preschool, elementary, and middle school age children for many years as a babysitter, tutor, Sunday school teacher, and party host. I'm very patient and I know how to explain complicated subject matter in a way that kids understand. I'll make sure each of my students learns their material in a way that makes the most sense for them.

My view on teaching is that every child has different needs. Growing up, I got frustrated with my teachers for never being able to explain things in new ways—I would show my classmates easier methods to help them pick up the content as quickly as I was able to. Sometimes, kids just need individualized attention from an educator in order to truly learn.
