About Philip
I have been giving trumpet lessons for 5 years. Many of my students were in high school and middle school. The majority of them making regional bands in competitions.
Music theory has been a special thing for me in college where I find myself teaching my fellow peers with great success.

I have had training in Tonal and Atonal harmony at the University of Arkansas and Northwest Missouri state universities. My understanding of theory is very simplistic and can be broken down into the fundamentals to communicate efficiently with my students.
While in college, I was selected as the principal trumpet player for the collegiate all state band in 2016 and principal trumpet player for the all state collegiate orchestra in 2017. I have studied with 4 trumpet professors over my life span and teach my own way by listening to my students needs and what they want to accomplish.
