About Maicol

I recently moved from Medellín, Colombia and married my partner, beginning a new chapter in the U.S. As I learn English and explore cultural differences, I’ve found joy in sharing my native language. Teaching Spanish is deeply rewarding—I bring patience, warmth, and real-life experience to every lesson. My approach is friendly yet professional, making students feel supported and confident. Whether you're a beginner or looking to improve, I’m here to help you learn naturally and enjoy the process.

About the lesson

As a casual teacher, I focus on creating a relaxed and friendly learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas. My teaching method is conversational and adaptive—I prefer guiding students through real-life examples, informal discussions, and hands-on practice rather than rigid lectures. A typical lesson might start with a quick chat to gauge understanding, followed by a flexible mix of explanation, exercises, and spontaneous Q&A. What sets me apart is my approachable vibe and ability to make complex topics feel simple and relatable. My lessons are ideal for learners of all levels who prefer a laid-back, personalized approach to education.
