About Engracia
I have been giving Spanish lessons since 2006 to young adults and adults, to individual and small groups. As a teacher, I have had 25 students. My students have become more fluent speaking the language, and more proficient in their listening, reading and writing skills.

I am from Barranquilla, Colombia. I was born to a lovely family with a mother who dedicated 35 years to teaching which made her my biggest inspiration to become a teacher too.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Universidad Del Atlántico located in Barranquilla where I also worked as a Spanish and English teacher for seven years..
I moved to the United States in 2004 and have worked as a teacher/private tutor since 2006.
I love working in a positive, age appropriate atmosphere where my students get the most according to their interest and demanding.
