About Martina
Hi, I am Martina, an active EASA commercial pilot and a University of Bristol graduate in Aerospace Engineering. I am also in training as a Certified Flight Instructor. I am originally from Italy, but I have lived in the UK for several years, with intermittent periods in France and the US. I have completed my training under EASA and currently fly under a German AOC. Due to the extreme similarity of the syllabus, I am comfortable tutoring students working towards both their CAA and EASA licences. I am an highly experienced tutor and therefore well-versed with teaching strategies and different styles of learning. I have been tutoring people for Italian (my native language) on Supeprof for 6+ years with excellent reviews and have since then become an Ambassador tutor. I started tutoring student pilots in 2023 after obtaining my licence. When I am not flying, I enjoy swimming, travelling, books and foreign languages. I am currently working on my 5th. Feel free to get in touch for further questions.

Perfect! Martina, was very informative, she helped me to understand the areas that I struggled with. I really liked how she took the time to use drawings to help explain some of the questions. She is also very patient and allows you to attempt to answer the question first before giving the answer.
Perfect! Martina has been really helpful so far. Although I have only had 1 short session with her so far, she came across as knowledgeable, approachable and supportive. She explained things clearly and I already feel positive about continuing tuition with her.
Perfect! Martina is a great tutor.
Perfect! Martina made me feel so comfortable. She made it easy to understand difficult topics! Would highly recommended Martina as a tutor!
Thank you for all your help in helping my final ATPLs! I appreciate everything you’ve done!- It is a pleasure to be tutoring Brooke in preparation for her last set of ATPL exams. I am enjoying our lessons together as she is focused, receptive and enthusiastic to improve on some of the trickiest parts of the syllabus. Excellent progress so far, keep up the good work!Martina's response :

She help thoroughly with working through any question you struggle with and amazing at explaining giving you the necessary and required tips on how to approach a question but also makes sure you understand it. Perfect! My first lesson with Martina went great. Very friendly and made the subject easy to understand. I booked my next lesson straight away.
- I have had a very positive experience with Charles so far. He is always communicative, on time, and overall a very nice person to work with. While we are encountering more topics to focus on together, I am sure that with the right amount of revision and practice time, he will be able to pass his last ATPL exams. Keep up the hard work!Martina's response :
Perfect! So far the lessons I have had with Martina has helped me a lot and also she has made the lessons more simplified and to the point. Martina is absolutely great with her explanation and making sure I understand and practice moving forward.
- I am enjoying classes with Raja. He is very punctual, communicative and easy to organise classes with. He has an enthusiastic, dedicated and thorough approach to his learning, three traits that will prove fundamental in this line of work. I am looking forward to making progress together and remain open to exploring any topics that Raja needs support with.Martina's response :

If you're looking for a professional, capable and helpful teacher, Martina is the one for you. She can make the most difficult subject easier and you will never have problems with that anymore. You will have the opportunity to speak with a mother-tongue girl who can also amuse you with funny italian cultural facts in between breaks. Most valuable qualities: lots of practice, good tips to avoid common mistakes and last but not least: always there to help you!
Francesca.Smart, funny, patient and very competent of course: Martina is amazing! I really recommend her!!! Alessandro
Martina Preti has been an excellent and diligent tutor - very encouraging and making the lessons and learning enjoyable! I expected that learning a new language would be quite daunting, but Martina has a patient way of moving me steadily forward. Much to recommend!
Martina and I first met at fourteen. We attended an international high school together where we learnt multiple languages while also carrying forward an Italian curriculum. Martina’s academic background has given her first hand experience on foreign language learning processes as well as in-depth understanding of the importance of interactive teaching.
On a more personal note, Martina has a wide range of interests which make her an extremely intriguing person to get to know and interact with; especially during a language class!View more recommendations
