About Yvette
I started dancing as a youth and grew up in the dance community. I began teaching right out of high school, receiving training from Ballroom champions around the world. For over 10 years I was in the competitive Dance Sport realm. I took students all over the USA including Puerto Rico and 2 countries to compete. I help newlyweds create their dream first dance and recently launched a new Ballroom & Wellness program to incorporate years' worth of technique and fitness in a simple and fun format for all levels!

My experience with Yvette as a teacher was the best!! She’s highly skilled in her work but makes it so much fun and light hearted. I took tango classes as well as salsa with her and it was a blast! She’s hilarious but also really focused on helping you progress quickly and consistently. Very professional but very kind and makes the environment really comfortable to grow in.
