About Margot
I am a passionate musician who just completed a Bachelor Degree in Dublin, Ireland. I am now pursuing my studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. As a performer, I value creativity and expression, and I bring that same energy to my teaching. I focus on helping my students build confidence in their performance skills. I aim to make my lessons engaging and tailored to each student’s needs, while inspiring them to enjoy the learning process as much as I enjoy teaching.

My teaching approach focuses on building a solid foundation while fostering creativity and enjoyment. I tailor my lessons to each student’s goals, level, and learning style. For beginners, I emphasise proper posture, breathing techniques, and embouchure development to ensure they start with good habits. As students progress, we work on tone production, finger technique, articulation, and dynamic control through scales, etudes, and repertoire. I incorporate a mix of classical pieces, jazz, and contemporary music to keep lessons engaging and relevant to students’ interests. I also emphasise the importance of regular practice, sight-reading, and ear training. My lessons typically last 30-60 minutes, depending on the student’s needs, and are suitable for all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced players. My ultimate goal is to inspire a lifelong love for music while helping students become confident and expressive musicians.
