About Arjun
I wasn’t always good at math. In fact, I used to struggle a lot especially when I tried to just memorize steps without understanding the logic. Everything changed when my father sat me down and helped me see the why behind every problem. That shift happened around 6th grade and from there math became something I genuinely enjoyed. I began to see patterns, solve problems faster and feel more confident. That early experience shaped the way I learn and teach today. I went on to score in the 99th percentile in one of the toughest math exams and now I am a Computer Science graduate. I know how frustrating math can feel and I also know how rewarding it becomes when it finally clicks.

I follow a bottom-up approach which would focus on understanding and not memorization. Each lesson will start with a quick recap, followed by clear explanations, guided practice, and a short wrap-up quiz. With a 99th percentile in a top math exam and a CS background, I bring strong analytical skills and patience. I’m flexible and teach students from middle school to high school, including AP Math learners. My goal is to make math feel logical and engaging, helping each student build confidence and long-term skills.
