About James
I was a very strong student academically back in high school and I believe that I can offer the guidance necessary for students to develop a strong foundation to achieve their goals. My high school GPA was 3.95 unweighted, 4.45 weighted, 1560 SAT, 36 ACT, 800 SAT II Math, 800 SAT II Physics, 5 on AP Calculus BC, AP CompSci, AP Statistics, AP Physics C, AP Chemistry, AP Government, AP Economics, and 4 on AP Biology.

I have tutored students in STEM subjects before and I've discovered that they have a much easier time grasping concepts intuitively when they are explained visually. Although I was very rigid about sticking to a curriculum/textbook in the past, I've since realized that every student is very different in terms of their styles and strengths, which makes some curriculums more difficult. I believe that having multiple curriculums or problem sources to pull from depending on the student's current level is far more efficient, given a curriculum outline of course. I have also come up with my own problems tailored to the student, which was very effective in my experience.
