In my classes, I always prioritise a personalised approach tailored to each student's learning style and goals. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, I design engaging lessons that blend fundamental techniques with creative exploration. Each session typically lasts around 60 to 90 minutes, providing ample time for instruction, practice, and feedback. With over 7 years of experience teaching piano and a strong background in performance and compositional practice, I bring both expertise and enthusiasm to every lesson. My students range from young beginners to adults, spanning all levels of proficiency. Whether you're embarking on your musical journey or seeking to hone your craft, my lessons offer a supportive and enriching environment to cultivate your passion for piano. Let's make beautiful music together!

I studied saxophone with Ivan for about 2 years before I moved cities. He was incredibly supportive and brought my playing to a next level. Highly recommended!
Ivan is a fantastic tutor, as he is easy going and really knowledgeable. He is very accessible and has a way of making difficult things, easy to understand. He speaks clearly and slowly and is very patient without being patronising. I find social things like this, can be quite scary. But Ivan instantly put me at ease, and we had a great time. I highly recommend Ivan, he is the epic sax guy!
Ivan is incredibly relaxed and clearly very knowledgeable. Far more than I can comprehend. It makes for good learning for me as he's always able to give me nuggets of wisdom. I always feel better educated after lessons with him.
Ivan has helped our daughters achieve great marks on their ABRSM Piano Grade 8 exams and provided them with great support through their learning process
