About Alexandru
Hello, I am glad you are considering studying piano with me. I started playing the piano 20 years ago and graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance where I did a piano performance degree .I have taught piano privately for a few years and worked with students from a variety of backgrounds and levels.

My lessons are tailored around every student’s level and needs and target the aspects of piano technique and style necessary to express the chosen music in an appropriate way and achieve a complete and reliable set of skills. It is very common for me to remind students about the importance of relating piano playing to life as music is life and not just "the cherry on the cake". If you are looking to go through ABRSM or Trinity grades or just to explore your passion for piano and study your favourite pieces I am the right teacher for you as I will provide you with both the discussions on musical content and various technical exercises and strategies you need to achieve it. It is also important for me to create a good bond with my students and wish to encourage them to open up and talk freely. This helps improve our communication and the efficiency of the lesson tremendously. The best way to get results is to approach the subject from several angles. Reading around the music you play, talking about music with other musicians or friends and listening to recordings online are some of the best ways to do it. Lessons with me are always relaxed, informative and I like to push my students to do things they didn't know they could do.
