About Andrea
My love of music and in particular this instrument began when I was 10 years old and has continued throughout my life. I have been playing in orchestras and doing solo performances for 25 years, and teaching violin for 12 years. Violin is my passion, and I enjoy passing this gift on to others

I am partial to Samuel Applebaum's String Builder series as well as his Scales for Strings, with a mix of some Suzuki and other methods as well, depending upon the needs of the student. I try to meet the students where they are and help them achieve their musical goals, always with the idea of performance in mind
