About Aimee
I am a passionate and reliable Piano tutor with 6 years of teaching and professional experience. I teach piano to school and college students and believe that music education creates lasting positive impact.
One meaningful milestone in my journey was seeing students develop consistency and confidence through regular practice. These moments confirmed my belief in patient and personalised teaching.
My lessons focus on strong foundations such as finger control, rhythm accuracy, music reading, and expression. I also teach basic music theory in a simple and clear way.
I believe learning piano supports emotional growth, focus, and self-discipline. Music education helps students gain confidence both inside and outside the classroom.
My teaching style is calm, encouraging, and student-centred. I guide students step by step and help them enjoy learning while achieving their goals. My aim is to inspire students to love piano and continue their musical journey with confidence.

My piano teaching philosophy is adaptive, creative, and interactive, designed to foster both technical skill and artistic expression. I prioritise communication, ensuring students understand every lesson clearly—from finger positioning and hand technique to rhythm, music theory, and expressive performance. I adjust lessons to the student’s learning style, making learning engaging, effective, and personalised for each individual.
I incorporate real-life examples and case studies, such as performing songs students enjoy, exploring classical works, and analysing music in films or daily life to make lessons relatable. Beyond piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, ear training, improvisation, and performance preparation, equipping students with a comprehensive understanding of music. My methodology encourages creativity, self-expression, confidence, and disciplined practice, guiding students to perform with skill, artistry, and enjoyment while cultivating a lifelong passion for music.
