About Samuel
I'm a Producer, Multi-Instrumentalist (Piano & Drums) and DJ from SW London specialising in electronic music and ghost writing for Pop/RnB.
I've been producing professionally for over half a decade with compositions orchestrated at the Royal College of Music, toured in multiple bands and DJ'd around the UK festival scene (Glastonbury, Wilderness).

I have a Level 3 Distinction * in Music Technology and a Certificate of Higher Education in Music Performance and Industry from Trinity Laban Music Conservatoire.
Most of my experience is from the real world. I'm currently writing for publishing and producing a trip-hop album with my identical twin.

I combine first-hand experience from making my own tracks and albums, DJing across the UK and producing for a range of artists with contemporary music theory to understand songwriting and production.
My lessons are designed around the goals and ability of each student.
Music Production Topics that we may cover:
Sound Design, Sampling, Songwriting, Programming (of drums and MIDI), Structure and Arrangement, Mixing, Music Harmony & Theory.
Piano Lessons focus on basic theory and ear training integrating writing and playing by ear. Suitable for beginners to intermediate.
I have a grand piano and production studio in SW London. In-person or online lessons are available. Students may choose to bring their own projects helping to streamline the lesson and focus on certain areas.
There are additional charges for lessons away from home, discussed on request.
Cancellation policy: At least 48 hours' Notice. Otherwise, the full amount will not be refunded. Lateness: If you are more than 15 minutes late and I don't hear from you, the lesson will not be held and won't be refunded.

Perfect! Samuel has a fun and relaxed approach to music production that immediately puts you at ease. Coming from a family of musical enthusiasts, it’s clear he’s lived and breathed music his whole life.
I’ve been working with him for a couple of months now, and he has an uncanny ability to truly understand an idea and turn it into incredible sounds. Together we’ve produced a record that exceeded my expectations.

Would highly recommend.Perfect! Samuel is a fantastic tutor. He has many musical skills to a n advanced level. My daughter learns music production and songwriting with him. She really enjoys it. As Samuel does not charge too high, my daughter is able to take time to drill her skills. Samuel is polite, down to earth and open to options, so my daughter is willing to have lessons with her. He helps her elaborate and discuss the types of music and progressions in music. He is a good teacher! Strongly recommend.

Perfect! Samuel is a super fun and patient teacher. His lessons are very enjoyable. He's great at identifying areas of improvement and precise with how I can work on them. - Taliesin is an amazing songwriter and has an incredible voice. He was very intuitive in knowing what his strengths and weaknesses were so we progressed quickly in the session finding specific practices and areas for him to work on. I would thoroughly recommend Samuel as a piano teacher . My daughter Ella was taught piano by Samuel and he is so kind and gentle , and very knowledgeable. Such a lovely person inside and out. She loved her lessons with him
Samuel is amazing at teaching music production to an end result and understands the process of song writing wonderfully, he has a very passionate vibrant way of teaching and will make you feel confident with your own abilities. He’s lots of fun to work with.
Sam is disarmingly charming. He makes the most nervous person relaxed and puts them at ease. He is kind and thoughtful to the individual's level and way of learning, he accomodates for the student's learning style. Sam is a great tutor, I thoroughly recommend him.
As an up&coming Singer-Songwriter with a debut at Glastonbury Festival, I can say, without hesistance, Samuel is THE producer. Good work etiquette, punctual, communication, and above all is multi-facetted, working across genres both live and electronic. He brings a beautifully nuanced electronic sound to acoustic and live music. He is willing to explain and communicate in full his process and so allows you to learn on the job while working. Exactly the way it ought to be!
