About Sophia
I am someone with a strong academic background - I achieved all 9s at GCSE, achieved A*A*A*A at A Level and am an undergraduate at the University of Cambridge.
I'm also someone with plenty of experience tutoring, having taught 250+ hours in GCSE Maths, GCSE Science and KS3 Science.
Being someone who loves learning, I am very passionate about supporting others with their learning journeys and helping them feel confident and supported. I have worked with many students and built strong relationships which have allowed me to understand how they work and how best to support their specific needs, and I think taking the time to understand students and adapt to them is a key part of tutoring.

I take a very communicative and open approach with my students. I understand some may feel intimidated by the idea of tutoring, and I aim to build a rapport with my student, identifying their weaknesses and explaining them to them whilst also explaining how I can help support them in overcoming their challenges. I genuinely enjoy explaining things, and I like taking the time to understand how students work and adapting to their specific learning style.
I offer lessons in Maths to anyone between KS2 and A Level, lessons in Economics to A Level students, lessons in French to GCSE and below, and lessons in triple science to GCSE and below.
