About Jaimie
I am a current A Level student (year 12) who is aspiring to help younger children pass their 11+ or build up subject knowledge. I gained straight A*’s and A’s within all my subjects at GCSE level, including both English Language and Literature, despite being dyslexic. I have tutored my siblings before and often helped younger years within my secondary school grasp certain topics within a variety of lessons.

I base how I teach on letting the child work it out for themselves, rather than them saying that they don’t know. I give them as much time as they need, and point them in the right direction, without just telling them the answer. Not only does this method help their learning, but it also develops problem solving skills and a great deal of resilience, which is key in later education and life.
