About Lana
I am a student at university who has had to try to teach myself content at school for years, particularly in maths. I didn't necessarily understand the ways that my teachers approached maths problems and so I had to come up with my own ways to solve problems. From this, I was able to help my peers and from there began tutoring students younger than me. During tutoring, I try to tailor my lessons so that you would find them fun and enjoyable, exploring different styles of learning, but also being able to learn lots and feel confident in your ability.

I am able to do many different types of approaches to teaching since I have found myself that traditional methods are not always the best for everyone. Typical length of a lesson is 1 hour to maximise productivity, however open to discussing different lengths as well. I have tutored students for years, particularly GCSE students, and students who find it harder to learn in the traditional classroom environment due to distractions or their needs not being met. Qualifications: 9 at GCSE and A at A-Level, also currently studying maths elements at university. Lessons available for any level, A-Level standard and below
