About Alfie
Having just sat exams myself, I understand the pressure that is experienced during this time. This allows me to put myself in a students shoes, therefore offering a considerate approach to the sessions. I want to help students get the grades they deserve, offering my support and confidence. I try to make the sessions engaging as I know Maths can be a particularly challenging subject. Through my years of experience, I’ve had pupils who require different ways of teaching, and I am able to provide flexibility in teaching methods.

Online lessons. During the first half of the sessions we will tackle a number of exam style questions on a topic of your choice, then enabling independent work with guidance wherever needed during the second half. Sessions are typically an hour long. I have over 150 combined hours and over 3 years of tutoring experience in both A-level and GCSE level. With qualifications during GCSE‘s I achieved 9 in Maths, and 8 in GCSE Statistics. An A* in A-level Maths, and an A in AS Further Maths. I am going into my 3rd year of a Masters in Mathematics at the University of York. I am able to tutor KS3 - KS5 or anyone doing GCSE or A-level exams.
