About Francis
Acting can be scary, but it is one of the most rewarding experiences of one’s life. Having been in professional spaces off-broadway in NYC, and on film sets in LA, I know how daunting acting can feel. I work to create a space devoid of tension, and judgment, when working with my students. I hold a duel degree in English and Theatre from Middlebury College, and I’m currently pursuing my MFA (Masters of Fine Arts) from the California Institute of the Arts, so I understand the tension of academic spaces. My classes focus on your needs, and your future goals on stage, or screen.

I meet my students wherever they are in their process. Whether it be getting an audition monologue in working shape, analyzing a scene for a current production, working on the audibility of the voice or articulation of the speech, I elevate my students’ performances to the next level. I’m in Graduate school, and so I bring current theatrical practices and exercises into the space.
