Dance is an energy that runs inside each person. I believe that every soul is unique and can tell a different story in their dance performance.

I worked alongside Oksana, teaching Ukrainian dancing. She is extremely knowledgeable about all types of dances, including but not limited to Ukrainian folk, Latin, ballroom, jazz. She is also an incredible dancer herself. She is very thorough with showing and teaching different techniques, moves and rhythm. She is patient, kind and a lot of fun! She always makes the lessons fun but ensures the students learn, develop and master their dance skills. She always encourages her students to reach for the top and continue working hard. She’s a great teaching companion, very respectful but is not shy to let you know when something is not right. Oksana is always transparent, honest and kind. She would make a great teacher because she exemplifies all of the characteristics needed to be a great teacher and more!

I have team taught with Oksana for a number of years. She listens to the needs of her students and adjusts her planning accordingly.
She is personable and has a knack for working with young dancers in their formative years. Offering creative and student directed imagery to help young dancers feel connected to their bodies, and proud of the work they are doing in dance class.
