About Samuel
Principally I'm a programmer/analyst for my day job, and I tutor Maths, Physics and Programming on the side.
For my musical background, I've played piano since I was 7, co-ran my own House & Techno club night brand at Uni in Manchester. I now DJ at weekends and produce my own remixes/bootlegs/original tracks. I'm happy DJing with both Vinyl and Digital formats, and use a mixture of analogue synthesisers, samples and digital plugins in my music production.

I start with a discussion of goals both generally and at the per-session level, and work out how best to go about meeting them.
General outline is that we'll focus on the foundations of any particular topic on instruments and build up from there with examples.
Happy to focus on digital DJing or Vinyl, or a combination of both. My sessions will cover both music theory and technical aspects of equipment; mixers, players, music formats, DJ software, etc.
I'm happy with all genres, particularly Techno, House, Drum & Bass and Garage. Full list of genres I cover:
