About Chip
Hello! I am originally from UK, living in Norway, and have 2 - 3 weekly dance classes here, especially for ladies 40+
I have been dancing since the age of 5, and worked as a professional singer with dance as a side skill. My pedagogical background is 20 years experience in the Contemporary Music Education Sector.
My communication skills are fun, clear and intuitive.
I love making a difference to enjoyment of dance, whilst maintaining exceptionally high standards of education. Generally, I teach ladies 40+, but am more than happy to work with any age group!
Since 1999, when I began teaching at the Academy of Contemporary Music in the UK (One of Europe's leading Contemporary Specialist Music Schools) I began to develop my pedagogical and music industry skill sets. I am accustomed to teaching at Degree level, and Higher Diploma (age 16 +).
My most recent passion is to develop dancers confidence, through good solid dance technique, anatomical knowledge and help clarify your unique personal goals.
Recently I have worked at Metropolis Studios in London, and the British Institute of Modern Music in London and the University of Chichester. You can see my most up to date career progression at my LinkedIn and other social media profiles.
Now living in Norway, many of my dance students wished for a more personal coaching relationship, so as a useful learning support, I set up my own Online 12 week course! Including personalised coaching for each member of the course.
I basically COAX Ladies in their 40’s and 50’s to actually enjoy getting moving, without it being a chore or difficult through recorded dance routines and online coaching.

You can blend a hybrid of one-to-one training, with online pre recorded lessons. I specialise in ladies fitness and wellbeing, so they feel energised, cheerful, vibrant, and confident.
