About Ashin
Hey, I am a Data & Decision Science Analyst working full-time at an MNC. I hold two Master’s degrees — an M.Sc in Computational Statistics & Applied Artificial Intelligence from Christ University and an M.A in Financial Economics from the University of Madras. My academic training is deeply rooted in statistics, data science, machine learning, and applied AI, with a strong foundation in economic and financial analytics.
I have hands-on industry experience working on real-world data problems involving data analysis, SQL, Python, machine learning models, forecasting, and decision-oriented analytics. Alongside my professional role, I have experience teaching postgraduate Data Science students, helping them build strong conceptual understanding as well as practical, industry-ready skills.
I am proficient in Statistics, Probability, Machine Learning, Data Analysis, SQL, Python, Power-BI, Advanced Excel and Applied AI, and I emphasize intuitive problem-solving, mathematical clarity, and real-world application in my teaching. My approach blends academic rigor with industry relevance, making complex concepts accessible and practical for learners aiming for careers in analytics and data science.

Methodology:
I teach data analysis and data science concepts from the ground up, with a strong focus on intuition, real-world examples, and hands-on practice using industry-relevant tools.
Assumption:
No prior background in data science is required. We start from core statistical and analytical foundations and gradually move towards applied machine learning and decision-making concepts.
