About Haley
My name is Haley Toler. I’m 20 years old. I’m deaf and my family are hearing. I learned ASL since I was 4 years old and still currently use it. I am currently work at Eastern Kentucky university for ASL tutor for almost 2 years. I love teaching and it’s my passion to become teacher. My major is deaf & hard of hearing education and elementary education.

ASL helps to bring people together. You can communicate underwater, through window, talking in the library, talk across a room without shouting. You can eat and use ASL at the same time. Hearing parents can communicate with deaf children. It’s fun to learn and very visually learning.
