About Yara
Hello! I’m a guitar teacher with 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in World Music specializing in Guitar Traditions. My playing combines academic knowledge with practical experience in metal, shred, and progressive rock. These styles challenge both technique and creativity. I love helping students grow in both areas.
Lessons focus on building speed and control. Technique is developed carefully. Students practice alternate picking, sweep picking, tapping, and fast scale runs.
I teach both younger players and adult learners. Lessons are personalized and supportive. Every student progresses differently.
Some want heavy riffs. Others want advanced solos. Both skills are exciting to develop. Music theory helps connect everything on the fretboard. Students learn scales, rhythm, and phrasing. Practice becomes focused and motivating. Progress becomes visible quickly. Together we develop powerful and expressive guitar playing.

My teaching approach is warm, supportive, and structured for steady progress. I specialize in fingerstyle guitar, classical pieces, and solo arrangements. Students practice advanced picking patterns, reading sheet music, and arranging songs for the guitar.
Visual aids, detailed demonstrations, and slow-practice techniques make learning effective. Fingerstyle phrasing, dynamics, and expressive touch are emphasized. Students develop confidence interpreting classical repertoire and creating their own arrangements.
Some learners aim for recording projects, others are exploring guitar later in life. I support both by customizing lessons and tracking detailed progress. Lessons balance technical mastery, creativity, and musical artistry.
Together, we uncover the beauty of fingerstyle guitar. Every lesson builds skill, expression, and confidence. Students leave inspired to explore music with depth and artistry.
