About Krish
Hello – I’m Krish. I am a PhD student at Imperial College London, researching Immunology. I also graduated with a Master’s degree in immunology from Imperial in 2023. I have been a tutor for the past 4 years, and during this time I’ve tutored over 50 students from KS3 to A-Level in Maths and Science. Having sat my A-Levels in 2019 in Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and Physics, I am very aware of the challenges of these subjects. Equally, I know the techniques and tips to help you achieve the grades you’re capable of! Most of my students achieve higher than their predicted grades. Additionally, several of my students studying A-Levels achieved an A/A*, with 100% achieving A*-C. Similarly, the majority of my students studying GCSEs achieved a 7-9, with 100% achieving 9-5. Some of my students have also gone on to study Medicine or study at Oxford/Cambridge/Imperial. As a tutor, my main focus is helping my students develop their understanding as well as their problem-solving skills. An excellent understanding is the principle behind being able to solve problems and problem-solving is a skill that is critical to not only achieve the top grades, but it is also vital outside of academia. Another aim of mine is to also help my students increase their self-confidence, enabling them to perform their best in exam conditions. A priority for me as a tutor is to adapt to the ages and abilities of my students - I'm always happy to explain things over, and in different ways, to ensure my students understand a concept. Equally, I understand young people have very busy lives today – and so, the homework I set will be designed to challenge you but not be very time consuming. Why not book a session with me? My son found lessons with Krish beneficial and he enjoyed them. He found Krish was good ant explaining topics. Overall I think Krish helped improve my son’s understanding and he will hopefully achieve a better grade thanks to Krish.

Krish tutored my son from the middle of his GCSEs to the end of his A-Levels in Maths and Biology. My son achieved grade 8 in Maths and Biology, and really enjoyed lessons with Krish. We had other tutors for other subjects he studied but what set Krish apart is his focus on problem-solving which my son found really useful during A-Levels.
My daughter has dislexia and even though he did not have experience in the issue (that did not stop him to do research into to it and concentrate the lessons with techniques for dislexia) to tutor my daughter that is one of the things that amuse me about him , she got more condidence to the point that she ask me that she would like to study on her own, I highly recomend krish to tutor you won't regrest it.

Krish's methods of teaching were very good - if I didn't understand bits and pieces, he'd explain it to me in different ways until I understood.
He focuses greatly on understanding rather than memorisation and he also focuses on application and exam technique - all of these things greatly helped me in my confidence and overall ability in exams.
