In my learning experience with Alex, I have learnt many things and subtleties, and in school, I am always ahead and have good grades. Alex, is my Spanish and French teacher. She is highly skilled, professional and flexible.
Her teaching way is very smooth and likable this helps me to understand and develop hight vocabulary.

I first started lessons with Alex in early 2023 as I was looking to improve my spoken and written French and break through to another level. Living in a francophone city in Switzerland and being at a B1/B2 level, I felt stuck as I struggled to express myself verbally and made lots of mistakes whenever I spoke. However, within a few months of tuition, Alex slowly turned it around. During each lesson, she would pick up on the errors (big and small) and would note it down in our shared document and explain to me the proper way to use the word / sentence. As we did lots of exercises that required defending opinions and giving relevant examples, this was extremely useful as it helped to not only improve my vocabulary but it helped me learn the proper way to phrase arguments. This, in turn, gave me lots of confidence in my everyday life especially when interacting with the locals.

What I enjoyed most about our lessons was the enthusiasm, dedication, and the tailored approach Alex takes with regard to your learning. With her, you could always let her know what you need to practice (whether it be revising grammar, doing more listening comprehension, etc) she will tailor it to your needs. What’s more, Alex’s ability to edit written work and elevate it to another level was amazing. She not only corrects grammatical mistakes, she rephrases the sentences completely so that it eliminates all anglicised sentence construction. Her excellent depth of knowledge of the French language coupled with her keen eye for details makes her an outstanding teacher for those who expect a high standard of teaching and a high return on their investment. I completely recommend Alex as she makes learning fun, stimulating and motivating - thank you Alex!

Classes with Alex are very dynamic. She adapts the content to your level and objectives and she strives to know the student's profile to adapt the way of learning (if you learn more easily through reading, listening, etc.) I like her method because in one hour of class she dedicates time to practice all skills. We also deal with interesting and current topics which gives you tools and vocabulary to address conversations that can happen in your daily life. I have been with her for less than a year and I have noticed great progress in pronunciation and oral expression as well as in writing, which in my opinion is one of the most difficult part of the language. I totally recommend her!

Alex is an awesome tutor who can teach and explain topics clearly and concisely. She regularly checks with me to make sure I understand the content and doesn’t hesitate to re-explain if confusions arise. Alex has shown me a very exciting and comfortable way to learn a new language.
I'm from Germany, so learning a Latin language was really hard for me. I tried French in my school but I quit very early.
Somehow with the methods of Alex and the very calm and patient personality we pretty fast developed a connection that lead me into effortlessly wanting to learn and speak. Alex also were everytime very responsive when it came to appointments, changes or difficulties. Especially I want to highlight, that based on her experience and methodology the investment of my time and money is incredibly affordable. Alex was my tutor for French for two years, overtime she helped me improve my grades from very low marks, up to one of the best in the class. She is a friendly and easy to talk to person and an all rounded good teacher. Alex is fluent in French, Spanish and English with French her natal language. She has Is gifted and passionate for languages and is an excellent French teacher for students at any level. Alex is an engaging and fun French teacher. I worked with her at Moreland Community Childcare Centres in Australia. She taught French with the children from 6 months old to 5 years old. She was always enthusiastic and supported the children to grow their vocabulary and learn French in ways that are interesting and developmentally appropriate. Alex is good with technology and embedded this into her program, she also taught the children (and me) lots of songs like days of the week in French!

Alex is very creative in her teaching - and is able to pitch it at the right level. This has meant that since this time we have continued independent lessons with Alex, and my 11-year-old daughter has great comprehension & accent and is able to converse in French.
