About Sriya
Hi, my name is Sriya and I am a dental student at the University of Leeds. I achieved 8's and 9's (A* and A**) in my GCSE's and AAA in A-level Biology, Chemistry and Maths.
Available to tutor A-level Biology and Chemistry. I can also offer support for the Dentistry application process as I understand the skills needed and looked for when applying for dental school.
I have been a tutor for the past 5-6 years tutoring children of all age ranges from primary and secondary SATS, GSCE's and A Levels- and now offer support with dental applications as well. I am familiar with most English and Welsh exam boards, but nonetheless I always ensure to personalise my approach for each specific student, their needs and their exam (boards).
Because of my own personal recent experience and my history with tutoring I am very familiar with the new updated curriculums, exam boards and newer methods of teaching and learning effectively and smartly.

After a brief session to understand which topics you would like to go through I will plan lessons which involves learning the content and applying knowledge to exam questions. I will also give advice on exam and revision techniques.
My 1 hour lessons are aimed for 16 to 18 year olds who are studying A-level Biology and Chemistry.

Sriya is a hardworking and ambitious young lady. As her manager of 3 years, I have seen her confidence grow and her communication skills with other improve. Sriya always puts 100% effort and passion into everything she does and I believe she will be a delightful tutor.
Sriya volunteered at my youth club and tuition centre where she fulfilled a variety of duties ranging from tutoring children from the ages 8 to 17 to helping younger children enjoy playing board games. I would like to say how delighted I have been with the attitude and effort that Sriya has shown during her sessions at the tuition centre. She has been a good role model for the children who attend as well as being a great help to myself and the other volunteers.
Sriya is able to adapt and cater to the needs of each person she tutored and incorporates large and small activities to engage the children in her lessons. Her ability to cater to each person individually allowed her students to excel in their studies
