About Willz
Kia Ora koutou. Ruapehu te Maunga Whanganui te Awa Aotea te Waka, Turi te Tangata Te Atihaunui-a-paparangi te Iwi Ko Willz Thompson Ahau. Short, simple but also enough to share where I come from, which mountain and river I come from, also which is the canoe my ancestors came to New Zealand in the 1300s from Tahiti, not Hawaii. I have been teaching Pepeha and Whakapapa to many students and teachers all across Aotearoa within community and schools and employment sectors. I have supported many intern students from overseas countries, Poland, Czech, Chinese, Cook Island, and many more. The goal was to discover how to use Pepeha in Te Ao Māori. Do you have to be Māori to use Pepeha? No, you don't. I can structure a plan that will suit you. Together we will start your journey of learning and to gain knowledge that will give you the most uplifting empowering feeling in a manner of 3-4 lessons. We will then put everything you have learned together in a structured pattern as shown above, with a small voice-over teaching of how to use and say your Pepeha with an outcome that you will be able to speak your ancestry line in Māori from the mountains to the rivers and the sea. Taku pepeha, he Pounamu, My ancestry is very sacred.
