About Nicole
I am a multicultural third-culture kid, half Dutch and half Colombian, this has allowed me to speak 4 languages whereby I have learned specific vocal nuances in each language.
I am currently a drama student when I am learning and applying vocal techniques into teaching. The knowledge I gain from performing and training vocally gives me a unique advantage to make your speech sound as natural and proper as possible.
I have been teaching my friends and family to understand their own voices and at times helped them to perfect their dialect and accent. I have also tutored some younger students to great effect.
I graduated with an International Baccalarete Diploma, achieving 36 points and a 6 in Higher Level English Literature.

My teaching method is half understanding and half rigorous coaching.
The first half is important to understand your own voice and see what you need to work on. This allows us to work in a self aware manner and hepls me to locate your specific needs.
Next, I work intensely on phonetic pronunciation with vocabulary words. Although it may seem tedious and persistent, results show after dedication and effort. I will also incorporate dramatic text into lessons to practice the theory and boost your confidence in speaking.
