About Joaquin
I'm a self-taught drummer with 16 years of experience playing in 11 bands, covering styles like rock, pop, indie, and punk rock, as well as developing my own styles of reggaeton, cumbia, funk, and a bit of folk. I've played live several times in band competitions and private shows. I've recorded in the studio. I am the current drummer for the band Dias Eternos.

The classes are based on an introduction to the instrument, theory involving concepts such as types of wood, drumheads, cymbals and their alloys, drum brands and their price-quality ratio in the Chilean market. The practical part includes rhythmic foundations, fills, basic combinations, dynamics, rudiments, and metronome use.
