About Nhloso
I am thrilled to join you as your instructor, bringing with me a wealth of practical experience and a passion for fostering creativity in the field of fashion design and administration.
My professional journey includes serving as an Assistant Creative Administrator at Sipho Mbuto South Africa, where I played a pivotal role in contributing to the 2020 Fashion Accelerator Programme with the Ethical Fashion Initiative. My responsibilities encompassed CAD work, branding analyses, and collaboration with EFI mentors. This collaborative effort was featured in Twyg magazine, highlighting our commitment to ethical fashion principles and sustainable practices
Furthermore, I had the privilege of enriching my skills through costume and set design collaboration with the musical artist Desire Marea. The live theatre performances in 2020 and 2023 at the Market Photo Theatre showcased not only my design capabilities but also my ability to thrive in dynamic, creative environments.
During my tenure as an Intern at Nguni Shades and Part-time Facilitator for Nguni Shades, I played a vital role in the SETA Fashion Skills Development Programme. This multifaceted role involved facilitating fashion drawing, theory, and sewing quality assurance. I corrected sewing procedures and taught design principles, while also assisting three head designers with pattern making, construction, and hand embellishing garments for custom design clients
Through these diverse experiences, I have developed a robust skill set that includes technical proficiency, creativity, and a deep understanding of ethical fashion principles. My ability to adapt and thrive in collaborative environments positions me as an ideal candidate for a Fashion Creative Design Administration role. I am eager to share my knowledge and insights with you, inspiring a passion for ethical and creative design practices.

My teaching style is meeting students where they are and adopting a flexible, freestyle teaching approach.
