About Eliot
I am a tutor and translator of Russian who has been giving lessons for three years. I have taught students with different needs, ranging from adult learners to GCSE and A-Level students. I am a musician and filmmaker as well as a tutor: I know a lot about Russian culture and try to integrate this into the lessons.

I am happy to give lessons to beginners, GCSE, A-Level, BA level or adult learners: I most enjoy adapting to students' needs and finding innovative ways to improve.
I love using interactive materials and introducing elements of Russian culture to contextualise learning: using music, film and drama.
I generally structure lessons around the three major blocks of language learning: use, comprehension and grammar. However, I am happy to adapt this to students' needs and desires.
