About Dillan
I am a friendly and driven tutor, having finished my studies of Economics at the University of Cambridge. I have extensive tuition experience in Mathematics and Economics up to A-Level, and Economics university applications. Previously, from age 7-18, I attended one of the top selective schools in the country, where I obtained 10 A* at iGCSE/GCSE and 3 A*, 1 A in my A-levels (in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Physics respectively). I scored the top mark in my cohort in Economics A-level, and averaged above 95% UMS in A-level mathematics, with my school awarding me the prestigious Colin Done Memorial Prize for Economics.

Having sat exams successfully throughout secondary school (and at university), I believe I have a strong awareness of revision methods which improve a student’s examination performance. My focus as a tutor is to prioritise understanding rather than memorisation, especially in a subject such as Mathematics. Such an approach ensures students are equipped to answer a broad array of examination questions, rather than just one specific past question, which is unlikely to be repeated in exactly the same form.
