About Ophelia
I am an economics tutor with 6 years of experience and a Master’s Degree in Development Economics. My interest in economics began with curiosity about how markets and financial systems influence everyday life. Over time, this curiosity grew into teaching and guiding students. I have worked with many learners and helped them improve their understanding and confidence. My goal is to make economics simple, practical, and meaningful for every student.
My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and real-life application. I explain concepts in simple language so students can understand easily. I encourage discussion and active participation during lessons. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I provide regular feedback to guide progress and improvement.
I continue improving my teaching methods to keep lessons engaging and effective. Teaching economics is rewarding because I see students develop strong thinking skills and confidence. I enjoy helping learners connect theory with real-world situations. My goal is to support students in building clear understanding and analytical ability. By the end, students feel confident, prepared, and able to approach economics with clarity, strong reasoning, and lasting confidence.

My economics lessons focus on helping students understand how economic systems work in real life. I teach topics such as demand and supply, elasticity, market structures, inflation, and national income using simple explanations. Each concept is broken into smaller steps so students can follow easily. I use real-life examples such as pricing, business decisions, and financial situations to make learning practical and meaningful. Students are encouraged to think, discuss, and ask questions during lessons. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable exploring ideas and improving their understanding.
Lessons are structured based on each student’s level and learning goals. Beginners focus on basic concepts and simple understanding. Intermediate learners work on graphs, analysis, and explanations. Advanced students focus on case studies, application, and exam preparation. I provide regular feedback and corrections to help students improve. Practice exercises and revision sessions help strengthen understanding and confidence.
