About Rachel
I hold a B.A in Economics and an M.Sc in Applied Economics, which provided me with strong theoretical knowledge and applied analytical skills. Over 9 years of teaching, I have worked with students from diverse academic backgrounds, helping them understand complex economic ideas through structured and patient guidance. This experience has shaped my ability to simplify abstract concepts without losing depth. My teaching style is calm, organised, and student-focused. I believe economics becomes meaningful when students understand connections between theory and real-world application. I encourage discussion, questioning, and independent reasoning so learners gain confidence in their analytical abilities. Beyond teaching, I remain engaged with economics through policy analysis, economic reading, and research discussions. This keeps my lessons relevant and insightful. Teaching economics is rewarding because I witness students develop confidence, clarity, and a deeper understanding of how the world functions economically.

Economics lessons are designed to help students understand how individual choices, markets, and policies interact within real-world systems. I guide learners through microeconomics, macroeconomics, supply and demand, market structures, inflation, and fiscal policy using clear explanations and relatable examples. Each lesson focuses on building logical reasoning so students can interpret economic situations with confidence and clarity. Beginners focus on fundamental concepts, terminology, and simple graphical analysis. Intermediate learners develop stronger analytical skills through case studies, data interpretation, and structured problem-solving. Advanced students refine exam strategies, essay structuring, and economic evaluation using real-world scenarios. Lessons are paced carefully to ensure students feel supported while steadily progressing. Economics lessons also help students build critical thinking and decision-making skills. Learners begin to see how economic reasoning applies beyond exams, influencing daily life and global understanding. My aim is to help students feel confident analysing economic issues and expressing their ideas clearly.
