About Jhanvi
My passion for Economics grew from an early fascination with how everyday choices shape larger systems. This curiosity led me to pursue a B.A in Applied Economics, where I gained a deep appreciation for the way theory, behavior, and real-world events connect. Over the past 9 years, I’ve guided students from many backgrounds, helping them approach economic concepts with clarity and confidence. I believe every learner benefits from patient explanations, an encouraging environment, and a structured approach that transforms complex theories into understandable ideas. I describe my teaching style as calm, supportive, and focused on building long-term understanding. I know many students initially feel uncertain about graphs, models, or evaluation questions, so I introduce each idea step-by-step with carefully chosen examples. I encourage thoughtful questions and guide students through their challenges gently, helping them build strong reasoning habits. I am committed to creating a space where students feel comfortable exploring ideas, recognizing progress, and developing their own analytical voice. Outside teaching, I stay connected to Economics by reading current research, following global trends, and studying developments in behavioral economics, public policy, and international markets. I enjoy bringing these insights into lessons to make the subject more meaningful. Teaching continues to inspire me because it allows me to witness a student’s transformation—from feeling unsure to becoming confident, independent, and capable. Supporting learners through that journey is something I deeply value.

Beginners explore core principles such as scarcity, resource allocation, supply and demand, elasticity, and basic market interactions. Intermediate learners work through cost structures, government intervention, trade theories, economic indicators, and the behavior of firms. Advanced students focus on structured exam responses, evaluation skills, data interpretation, and applied reasoning. I offer calm guidance, constructive feedback, and practice tasks that encourage consistent improvement. My aim is to support learners through each step until they can explain concepts clearly, analyze real scenarios, and approach new material with confidence. Economics also strengthens essential life skills—critical thinking, problem-solving, and understanding how systems influence outcomes. Students often find themselves more aware of global events, financial choices, and long-term decisions. Many discover interests in fields like business, policy-making, finance, entrepreneurship, or social sciences. My goal is to help students appreciate Economics as a practical and empowering subject that helps them evaluate situations thoughtfully.
