About Rishan
My interest in Economics began with curiosity about how markets function and how decisions affect society. This led me to pursue a PhD in Economics, where I developed deep knowledge of economic systems. Over the past 8 years, I have helped students understand Economics through clear explanations and structured lessons.
My teaching approach focuses on clarity, simplicity, and real-world connection. I use examples and discussions to make lessons engaging and easy to follow. I encourage students to ask questions and think independently. I also adjust my teaching style based on student needs.
I continue learning about economic trends and improving my teaching methods by learning more about real-time economic world. Watching students grow from confusion to confidence is very rewarding. Helping them achieve this progress motivates me to continue teaching with dedication.

Economics becomes easier when students understand how it connects to real-life decisions instead of seeing it as only theory. In my lessons, I focus on topics such as supply and demand, market structures, inflation, and economic systems using simple explanations. I break each concept into smaller steps so students can understand clearly and build their knowledge gradually. I also use real-life examples such as pricing, business decisions, and consumer behaviour to make learning practical. This helps students connect theory with real situations.
Lessons are designed based on the student’s level and learning goals. Beginners focus on basic concepts like demand and supply. Intermediate learners work on graphs, data interpretation, and understanding market changes. Advanced students explore deeper concepts, case studies, and exam preparation strategies. I include practice questions and guide students step by step to improve their answers. Regular feedback helps them build confidence.
As students improve, they begin to see Economics as a useful and interesting subject. Many learners develop strong thinking skills and confidence in analysing information. This growth helps them in academics and daily decision making. My goal is to make Economics simple and practical while helping students build strong confidence.
