About Shan
Hi, I’m Shan, an Economics tutor with a real passion for helping students understand the subject. I achieved an A* in A Level Economics and now study Economics and Politics at the University of Birmingham, where I’ve consistently achieved Firsts.
I specialise in online GCSE and A Level tutoring, helping students build genuine understanding, improve exam technique, and grow in confidence. My lessons are clear, structured, and engaging, combining past paper practice with real world examples so ideas really make sense.
I’ve helped students move from E or F grades to strong Bs and higher, and I always tailor each 60 minute session to your goals. Whether you’re aiming to boost your exam results or feel more confident with Economics, I’ll support you every step of the way.

Hey, I’m Shan! I’m in my final year studying Economics & Politics at the University of Birmingham. I got an A* in A-Level Economics and did a Consulting Placement Year at Thales UK, so I have experience with explaining and breaking down Economic Concepts. I love meeting new people, and I focus on using humour and real-world stories to explain concepts. I’ve helped GCSE/A-Level students jump from E/F grades to solid A/Bs by breaking down complex topics into fun, understandable steps.
