About Jennifer
I am an education major with a special interest in mathematics. I have attended several accredited universities, including Stephen F. Austin University, where I tutored College Algebra in my freshman year and precalculus in my sophomore year. I have spent the last 5 years working for a public school district. For 3 and a half years, ran my own on-campus tutoring, helping more than 100 students a day with content from basic operations and word problems to long division and basic algebra. From there, I moved to secondary education where I helped high school students with college math, algebra, geometry, and algebra II. I am experienced in understanding what students are missing, then breaking down the steps to bridge the gap.

My lessons will break down the vocabulary and knowledge required for students to catch up with the subject they are falling behind in. I thoroughly explain every piece of content, no matter how many times it takes, for a student to succeed. My goal is not just to help the student pass but to fully understand the content they are having trouble with, so they can take the knowledge to the next subject.
